I wanted to take a moment and fill you in on what you really need to know about water. I’m sure you hear all the time that "you need to drink more water" or that water can do this... water can do that.... water is a miracle drug!
Well to some extent, it is. Your body is comprised of roughly 60% water making water one of the most vital parts of life. I’m not sure about water being a cure all, but making sure you’re getting enough can be a huge key in improving your health and well being.
When you’re active and sweat your body loses water. If you aren’t replacing that you may feel less motivated, exercise may feel more difficult, and your performance can be hindered. Even when you’re not active your body heavily relies on water for its vital functions. Slight dehydration can cause headaches, mood swings, concentration, and fatigue.
Benefits of drinking water –

· Promote weight-loss
· Much more
Many people do not drink enough water. Actually 66% of U.S. adults don't drink enough water. Most of us sub out water for coffee, tea, soda, alcohol and other flavored drinks. Some of these can actually promote dehydration. In place of other beverages for a week try drinking water instead. Aim for 8-12 cups or I prefer your bodyweight in ounces.
